First post for the Christensen Family!

I am finally starting a blog!  I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time so our family and friends can see what we've been up to. Hopefully I can keep it up!

This is my first time using a blog so I'm going to try it out with a few things in March.

Over Christmas Daniel discovered that he loves ice skating.  It was the first time he has jumped right into something without being afraid at first.  He went twice in Alaska holding onto a special metal bar they had for kids to push around.  He also went once in Idaho without a bar to hold.  So we found a skating place near us in Riverside that gives a free skaing lesson.  Nathan wasn't so sure about it, but Daniel loved it and did so good!

I was trying to find a cute pictures of all 3 kids to hang up one day, but sadly we didn't have any good ones.  So I took some more.  Daniel helped me arrange some of the poses.  He's really good at that.  I think he thought up the one with Olivia in the middle and it's my favorite.

My mom has made it a tradition to visit us every year on her spring break in March.  We love having her here.  The kids especially love having Nana come. 

We always have to take her to the frozen yogurt place.

And we went to Lake Perris down the street from our place to play in the sand.

Somehow kids never mind eating a little sand with their food.

  I should have known the boys would get wet even though it was cold, but I didn't bring any extra clothes.

Dustin helped them build a sand volcano.

Daniel collected a whole bucketful of little shells. Not sure what he's going to do with them (they're still sitting in our garage).  But he sure had fun collecting them.

 Nana had fun drawing in the sand with a cool stick she found.

Nana even did some advertising.
